I am a native New Orleanian who currently lives in Houston, TX. I have a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana. My Master’s degree in Public Health from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I have work experience in laboratory research, medical sales, and medical/editing writing. I completed coursework in Gross Anatomy, Histology, Biochemistry, Statistics, Cardiology, Pulmonology, and Pharmacology at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. I was formerly employed by Johnson&Johnson and GlaxoSmithkline. I like catering to each child’s interests and responding to each question.

The Science Educator is place to share resources, collaborate with fellow teachers and to help parents provide a positive learning environment in Science Education for students in Pre-K - 12th grades.

My vision is to ensure all lessons are student-centered and differentiated so that all students get the support they need. I will inspire a lifelong love of learning by creating lessons that are exciting, authentic, engaging, and relevant to the lives of my students.
